What you will learn:
If you have some experience with pattern cutting and want to create garments tailored to your unique shape, this course is perfect for you. You'll learn how to draft a pattern block in your own size using your personal measurements. Afterward, you'll test your block with fabric and make any necessary adjustments to ensure it fits perfectly.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

• Take precise body measurements

• Draft a skirt block (ideal for beginners), with opportunities to advance each term to bodice, sleeve, and trousers blocks using your own measurements

• Cut and assemble your block in calico for a fitting

• Make any necessary adjustments to your draft based on the calico fitting
